Years after living here finally made it into the famous 167Raw... getting in isn't for the faint of heart you need to feed dedicated to going early or waiting several hours! We went early during the summer weekday and snuck into the bar! We had two delicious cocktails Honeydew Highball and Spicy Margarita. Of course got a tray of various oysters available that day! We had the Mahi Fish Tacos and Divers Sea Scallops entree! These dishes were absolutely fantastic and an upper favorites of the Charleston restaurants! We shared the Mexican Chocolate Pudding, its portion size is quite big and very delicious and very unique! Great service while we were here it wasn't too loud because we went a little earlier, but we know it gets packed! The decor and ambiance was perfect for a Charleston downtown bar! Highly recommend!

Amazing food!! We had the lobster roll, two tacos and Romesco potatoes...all were stellar. Potatoes are worth the side swap for sure. My friend got the dirty martini and said it was best she ever had. The Paloma was also very good. Service was really good, we felt like we had lots of space to chat and the vibes are good inside. Only complaint was that the prices are a little steep. Obviously you expect that from a quality seafood place, but it even seemed a little much for that considering the portions. We still enjoyed everything and had a good night!!

The best lobster roll I've had in a long time! It was so delicious, and stuffed with fresh lobster. I highly recommend ordering this at your next visit. We also had their baked oysters and they were very flavorful, we enjoyed them a lot. There is usually a wait so show up early for dinner. We put our name on the wait list at 5:50pm and were seated by 6:30pm. The service was wonderful, the host at the front and the waitress were both very sweet. You can go to 167 Bar and have a quick drink while you wait for your table. Food is worth the wait!

Oh. My. God. Best oysters on the half shell I have had outside of a little place in Barcelona that sat right in the Mediterranean. They were soooo good. But most incredible, they had these roasted oysters that were just otherworldly - the baked cheese must have had crack in it because I could not stop ordering them. Expected a long wait for a table because people who know come there every chance they get. It is worth the wait. You're welcome.

This is a MUST visit. They don't take reservations so had an app elsewhere while we waited since it was over an hour wait. But fully is worth a wait! We shared a lobster roll, each had a fish taco and shared the Mexican pudding dessert. Lobster roll - SO fresh, cold delicious lobster & a warm buttery roll. Mahi fish taco - even better than I expected -- guac was layered between the tortillas. So yummy! Mexican pudding - the caramel was unreal. Fresh cream. Rich pudding plus nuts? Definitely recommend but enough for even three to share. Definitely make a stop in!

Raw 167 has the best oysters in Charleston! They have actually had customers find pearls in the oysters However not this unlucky couple perhaps they were feeling SHELLFISH LOL Eating outside was not an option with this heat ! The inside can feel cramped and confined but worth it for the a/c and fresh seafood!

Okay, let me tell ya- the hype is REAL. Wow, the selections are so wonderful that I came in here twice. I got to try the: - Oysters (from Boston, NC, and one other city) - Wonderful with the marionette sauce. There's an in-house peach version too. - Nordic blu salmon entree salad - Easily one of the best salads I've had. The salmon was flaky and smooth and the vinaigrette was the star of the show. The lettuce was local and was paired with thinly sliced zucchini, beets, and assorted veggies. Don't sleep on this salad! - Fish tacos - Grilled fish tacos which was an interesting take. It was still delicious but wondered how it would've tasted fried. - Shrimp tacos - Fried shrimp with delicious slaw on the side. I preferred these over the fish tacos but both were delicious. We were able to get seated immediately. Try going earlier than rush hour periods and you may be able to snag a table or a spot at the bar. The service was a bit slow when dining first time out on the patio; I thought they forgot about us. Ambiance is super cute and nautical. It's perfect for a dinner date or night out with friends. 10/10 would recommend this spot!
